Radio Oncology Center locations and driving distances/times to the German population in 2022

List of Radio Oncology Centers (ROCs) in Germany (as of 2022) as well as driving time and driving distance from all 100m populated grid cells (according to the 2022 Census) to the nearest ten ROC locations.

The generation and use of the data are described in the paper https://doi.org/10.1007/s00066-025-02435-7.

# roc_locations.parquet roc_locations.parquet contains information (incl. coordiantes) of Radiation Oncology Centres (ROC) in Germany. ROC locations were gathered from [https://www.degro.org/patienten/kliniken-2/](https://www.degro.org/patienten/kliniken-2/) and [https://dirac.iaea.org/Data/CountriesLight](https://dirac.iaea.org/Data/CountriesLight) . Additionally, a web based search on [www.googlemaps.com](http://www.googlemaps.com) was performed. Missing information were searched on the ROC homepages or collected by direct contact. Information from all sourced were merged and cleaned for duplicates.) ## Attributes - roc_id (int): unique identifier of for ROC location - wkt (chr): well-known text coordinate of ROC geolocation (EPSG: 4326) - name (chr): name of ROC - street (chr): street of ROC - postalcode (chr): postalcode or ROC - city (chr): city of ROC - addition (chr): some more detailed information about ROC name - federalstate (chr); federal state of ROC        - www (chr): website of ROC - nolinacs_dirac (num): amount of linear accelerators per ROC.
